Mass metal finishing / Tumbling

Mass metal finishing or tumbling, or barrelling, is a procedure used to improve surfaces: deburring, honing, polishing, buffing, etc.
Mass metal finishing or tumbling is carried out using a vibrating machine, where parts are placed inside for processing together with abrasive material and certain chemical products.

Part processing is carried out by combining the action of the machine with the abrasive and the chemical product.
The advantages of mass metal finishing (or tumbling) are mainly the execution speed of processing and the resulting savings in labour compared to traditional technologies. Furthermore batches of various sized parts can be treated.

For this type of processing, BU.GE.GO. avails of a mass metal finishing system for small and medium sized parts.
